Embroidered scene of a Bengal village with a terracotta temple, a river, a boat and a cycle rickshaw

Made in West Bengal, with Kerala in the heart.

Every card starts from the places a wedding actually lives: the floor, the doorway, the cloth, the flowers. These are some of the things the designs borrow from.

বাংলা

Bengal

  • Alpona, rice paste painted on the floor in swirls and lotus petals.
  • The red-bordered white sari, worn for pujo and for weddings.
  • Kantha, the running stitch that turns old cloth into something new.
  • Bishnupur terracotta, temple walls pressed with epics and dancers.
  • Pata scrolls, stories painted panel by panel and sung as they unroll.
  • Santiniketan, where Tagore filled the margins of his manuscripts with odd birds and faces.
കേരളം

Kerala

  • Nilavilakku, the brass lamp lit at the doorway.
  • Kasavu, cream cotton with a gold edge, for every big day.
  • Pookalam, a flower carpet laid in rings, ring by ring.
  • Nettipattam, the gold face-cover of festival elephants.
  • Mural painting, in red, ochre and deep green on temple walls.
  • The backwaters, with houseboats and coconut palms on every bend.

A wedding that joins the two can use both. A wedding from one of them can have that one in full.

Same wedding, many ways to draw it.

Thread and felt is the style on the sample cards, and it is ready now. The others are on the way. These tiles are style swatches, not finished cards, and you can ask for a style before it's ready.

Something of your own

Send a photo of what your family already has and we'll start the design from there.

Tell me your idea

Doodle, watercolour and kantha are being added one at a time.

If one of them is the look you want for your wedding, say so. It helps decide which gets finished first, and I'll tell you honestly how soon it can be ready.

Hosting is included for your wedding season. Prices are in Indian rupees and may change as the designs grow. The sample cards use made-up couples and a made-up venue.

How it works

Most cards take a few days from the first message to a link you can send.

1

Tell me the details

Names, date, functions, venue and the language you'd like. A short WhatsApp chat is enough.

2

See a preview link

You get a private link to look at on your own phone before anything goes to guests.

3

Ask for changes

Fix a spelling, move a time, swap a colour. How many rounds depends on your plan.

4

Share the final link

Send it on WhatsApp, print it as a QR code on a card, or do both.

For planners and venues

When a client wants something beyond a PDF invite, I can make the card and you can offer it inside your package. Partner rates are available if you bring regular work.

Questions people ask

Can I choose a different art style?

The thread and felt style is ready now. Doodle, watercolour and kantha-line styles are being added. Tell me which one you'd want and I'll say honestly whether it can be ready for your date.

Will it work on every phone?

It opens in the normal browser on current Android phones and iPhones. On a very old phone the animations may be slower, but the details and the map still show.

Do guests need internet?

Yes, a data or Wi-Fi connection to open the link. Once it has loaded it works fine on a weak signal.

Can I get it in Bengali or Malayalam?

Yes. Bengali, Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil are supported. Send the text you want on the card and I'll set it up. Please check every spelling in the preview, you know your family's names best.

How long does it stay online?

Through your wedding season, plus a few weeks after so guests can look back at it. Ask if you want it kept longer.

Can I change details after I've sent it?

Yes. The link stays the same, so a changed time or venue shows up for everyone who opens it again.

Does it replace a printed card?

It can, or it can sit beside one. Many families print a small card with a QR code that leads here.

How do I pay?

Half to start, the rest when you're happy with the preview. Payment details are shared on WhatsApp.

your date, your city, your plan

Got a date in mind?

Send me the date, the city and the plan you're leaning towards. I'll reply with what's possible and a price.
